Yorkeys Knob Golf Course

Yorkeys Knob Golf Course

Executive Summary

Wagners CFT partnered with Country Club International (CCI) for the Yorkeys Knob Golf Course project in Cairns, Queensland; to deliver innovative FRP fence poles for a retention fence that could withstand the cyclonic wind loads and geotechnical conditions.

The lightweight Wagners CFT poles allowed for smaller footings, reducing costs and simplifying installation in a restricted environment. Moreover, Wagners CFT's FRP solution demonstrated superior resistance to the highly corrosive coastal environment, ensuring a longer service life with minimal maintenance over traditional building materials.

"Our partnership with Wagners CFT was instrumental in the success of this project. The exceptional strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness of their FRP poles, coupled with the expertise and support of the Wagner team, resulted in an innovative and sustainable solution that surpassed our expectations."
